Peeps at the Museum

For several years I have noticed the Peep Diorama contests in our local newspaper & decided to make one. I titled my creation, “Peeps at the Museum” and it won an honorable mention. Using acrylics, I painted the floor, walls, "sculpture" & pedestals. "Paintings" were wallet- sized prints of my paintings, except for the token abstract, which I painted in 5 minutes using leftover acrylics from the project &/or Easter egg decorating. I hung it near the floor to show my level of regard for that genre. The couch was from a dollhouse. Bunnies were propped up with stands made from paper clips. Using a spotlight, rather than flash photography, gave the scene atmosphere.
